What sort of prices were they charging?

You would need to screw the plywood into the roof so it doesn't shift around and damage stuff during the whole process, nobody is gonna wanna do that. Boom lifts are ocassionally used for extremely tall properties but they add to the price. You're forgetting the biggest issue though, liability. My company stopped doing fumigations cause of the liability involved. Getting the plywood on the roof is gonna take a lot of effort and more than just a boom lift, you're gonna need huge slabs of it to properly cover panels, I don't know if you've seen them but they're not small. They usually cover significant portions of the roof.

At that point it would just be cheaper to pay a company to remove them and reinstall vs all that other effort.

If there was a better way the companies would do it to make money. There just isn't unless the owner is willing to shell out and many aren't, even the rich ones and we work with A LOT of rich people. They own million dollar homes and have multiple homes all over the area.

You drop heavy ass tarps on the roof and roll them to tent a house, I'm taking couple hundred pound tarps. The workers need to be able to walk on the roof to set them up, the tarps can and have damaged panels so companies in the area don't fumigate with them on anymore.

I work closely with a fumigation company and that's what they've told us.

Might be cause they make roof redos or fumigation even more expensive. I had a customer say they were paying 3k to get their panels removed so they could pay another 3k to fumigate the house. Almost doubled the price.

Don't get me wrong, I agree that we should require panels in new builds somehow but I don't know what the best option is.

It's not 44 percent of Americans. It's 44 percent of the people poled. I can guarantee that number is skewed because a ton of left leaning people wouldn't bother wasting their time not getting paid to answer some pole. I know my friends and I are in that boat.

Lul would be amazing. I would love to see their reaction as the meter in front of them goes ham.

This is actually a great compromise if they don't wanna fact check em on air. Have the meter and the link on screen if anyone wants to go online to read the fact check.

Fuck this is painfully on point. Both as someone whose worked in customer service and IT.

Yea but at least with android you can download and install apks and find a way around stuff. Apple has their stuff locked down and they make it difficult to do that sort of stuff.

I've said this plenty and people tend to agree with me even if their first reaction is to fight me on it, conservative women are some of the most if not the most stupid people in the US. At least conservative men have something to gain by voting the way they do, but conservative women literally vote to get their own rights taken away.

I don't even say this trying to be mean, I wish they got what they deserved and by that I mean healthcare, education and whatever social program they needed to be happy and safe. Unfortunately they constantly vote against me wanting the best for them.

Dude same here. I usually say stuff along the lines of 'yea it took me forever the first time to figure it out' or 'it's a common issue that a lot of people have, I'll get it sorted in a sec for you no problem'. Make it seem like they're not stupid, regardless of the truth and then fix it, keeps em happy and more willing to cooperate with you as well.

I also talk through what I'm doing and if they show interest I'll teach them so they can fix it in the future, 'ah I've seen this before, took me like a hour to figure it out on my computer, for me it was a chrome update that broke how downloaded files open. Here let me right click the file, and go to open with, we hit Adobe pdf and check the always open with this program button, that should do it let's test it out. OK seems like its good to go. Let me know if you have any more issues'. If they don't show interest then it's no problem.
