That's theft you're talking about. A criminal offense in most places.

Getting your order wrong, unintentionally, isn't.

The want to make US the new Afghanistan?

https://nypost.com/2021/09/11/incredible-scenes-of-womens-liberation-in-1970s-afghanistan/

In the 70's women in miniskirts walking around Kabul. Then the Taliban took over and all that was gone.

Don't let the same thing happen in the US. Use yours fucking vote. I don't have one (for the US).

You could say that, yeah.

Ever heard of the Enumlaw horse sex case?

Fucking Boeing.

That's... that's not a thing that helps me sleep at night.

[-] Dasus@lemmy.world 5 points 22 hours ago

but of course he'd claim he did once it took off.

Yeah.

Reminded me of: George Lucas is a timetraveler and I wrote Star Wars

Darth Vader was actually originally a separate character from Anakin, and his name was just "Darth Vader". That's why Obi-Wan addresses him as "Darth", whereas after that it's a title, not a name, as Lucas retconned a bit to have a grand plan.

So when he was named Vader, he wasn't even Luke's father, so...

That's awesome.

I read it.

The first thing is he was trying to be controlling of his girlfriend, out of jealousy. Seems bad, but the messages also showed he gave that as an option. A controlling ultimatum, sure, but he still did give an option. Insecure and jealous, but doesn't seem like he forced anyone to do anything against their will. Pressuring, sure, but still gives an option.

The second accusation on the other hand

Marty Singer, a litigation attorney for Hill, told Deadline that Nikolas’ accusations were “a complete fabrication” adding that “it never happened.” Hill has also denied all allegations to the DailyMail.com.

Singer called Nikolas a “demonstrably unreliable” source and “a serial accuser who has made assorted accusations against multiple men in the entertainment industry”.

Not to defend any creeps or rapists, but Hill more seems like he has problems with himself than with women.

Spending billions of pounds to prop migrants up for life, yet our elderly starve

Those aren't mutually exclusive, you cockwomble.

Do you know what old people need? The NHS, quite often.

Guess who works for them?

Percentages for nurses are much higher – nearly 27 per cent of NHS nurses are from outside the UK

Hopefully you're still a teen meaning you can grow out of this bullshit.

You're pretending as if he's just honest and this is just the most reasonable ways of doing things.

You're completely ignoring the intentional misrepresentation of the capabilities of the technology. The main point of the robots is to be autonomous, which they're not.

It's like if I were making some waterproof product and then made a huge presentation in which I have to avoiding getting any water on the product, while pretending they're immersed in water.

He [Elmo] referred to these as “your own personal R2D2 C3-PO,” and that in the long term, these robots would cost less than a car – specifically, ~$20k-$30k. A video also described them as an “autonomous assistant, humanoid friend” which could be used for basically any task you can think of.

Perhaps don't market things as something they're not?

Just something MAGA-people seem to have a hard time with sometimes. Probably not as much when Americans are speaking to themselves, but as a non-American, sometimes it's challenging to get "those people" to admit that there is indeed anything wrong with the US. As in they won't accept a single criticism, and will loudly proclaim "America is the greatest country in the world", while wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat, which for me pretty explicitly means America isn't great, if it has to be made to be such again.
