"9 out of 10 workers support the policy" he decided to imagine and then say out loud
Not if the app is coded properly to not include message content in the push notification. Signal uses google notifications only as a wakeup event to poll the (not google) server for the new message.
Google push notifications are available on GrapheneOS - just have to install Google Play Services. Their sandboxed version of google's junk is nice because you can fully restrict permissions to it unlike stock Android.
Yeah a commentary video with a creator of a movie or show is real content related to the other content, not the same as a random person's "look at me" video
No I let Gmail preview the attachment in the browser, without clicking the content inside
I get a lot of spam/phishing in one of my Gmail accounts for some reason. They send me PDF attachments with nude pics on them of hot ladies that ostensibly want to meet my penis and stuff. "Click here!" it says on the nude pic PDFs, with links to .ru websites and junk
I think people are fucked up on Linkedin because it's a self-marketing site, so they are selling a fake version of themselves. Wait that sounds like another version of Facebook and Instagram...
I hope this gets circulated enough to reduce the ridiculous amount of investment and energy waste that the ramping-up of "AI" services has brought. All the companies have just gone way too far off the deep end with this shit that most people don't even want.
It went from "don't post pictures of yourself or your real name online because you might get strangers' attention" to everyone trying to be their own version of a Max Headroom talking head to try to get the attention of all the strangers. Selfies, video selfies, talking head videos, reaction videos... all garbage.
The phone addiction thing is strangely very common now. I've seen many posts online about it, people complaining how life is bad and they can only stay on their phone all day.
I just don't get it. Why would you want to stare at a tiny screen in your hand all day? I only waste time on my phone when I'm bored and can't find something better to do.
You rant loudly but wrongly about "assault weapons". The fact is that pistols are used to kill far more people in the USA (and elsewhere) than "assault weapons" and any other kind of rifle. 3% or less of all homicides involve any kind of rifle.
In a non-Tesla car I've driven, there was an autopilot cruise control mode that just used cameras. In practice it only works out well if you're driving long distance on a highway with low traffic. It's still nice to have (much better than having no autopilot cruise mode) but I don't trust it around multiple lanes of other cars doing unpredictable shit. Also quits working in the rain when the cameras are obscured.
