The Gilmore Girls theme song. My wife had never seen it before. Now she has.

Guide. They can do that on land.

The Christmas Song, Nat King Cole!

Although, you're right, it took me a long time to think of one that actually mentions flight. Even Rudolph doesn't.

Raised in rural PA. I know EXACTLY the kind of slop your talking about!

It's essentially random shit you have laying around dumped in a pan and baked for 40 minutes.

Clam chowder.

Maybe you like clam chowder, that's fine, but even then, it's going to stink up the whole office and you might go through a few little cups worth, but nobody's grabbing a big bowl of chowder at a pot luck.

My whole family is going to start complaining that the WiFi is busted and I need to fix it.

A metal head is the kind of guy I want watching my back. They aren't afraid to get knocked around a little, usually smarter than most, and they have the biggest hearts.

Of course, there are exceptions, but that's the general vibe I get from the metal heads I've met.

You sound like me. You ever nod off when you really don't want to just because you're bored?

I would go from full of energy to 0 in minutes during a boring lecture, reading bedtime stories or driving. (Yeah. Scary)

Nobody ever complains about the inattentive type. We just get labeled lazy, but we aren't disruptive, so we don't get the attention that leads to diagnosis.

The most I wear a pair is maybe the next day if I didn't have them on very long the day before.

I would also like to hear an expert opinion on this. Never really made sense to me either, but it also doesn't sound unreasonable.

Things I must be wrong about because everyone agrees:

Flapping my arms won't cause me to fly.

I can't breathe underwater.

Washing hands prevents disease.

Eating food gives us energy.

Yesterday was Christmas.

If only everyone was as smart as you. šŸ™„

I'm sorry. Being enslaved, jailed, or executed for no reason is NOTHING like getting your comment deleted without a detailed explanation.

If you're feeling oppressed by other people not reading whatever thoughts pop in your head, it might be time to go touch grass, or snow, depending on what's available in your area right now.

Just a thought that crossed my mind today.

If I was to ask everyone that you've ever interacted with (IRL) what their general opinion of you is, what do you hope the most common answer would be?

Would you hope they consider you a successful person, physically attractive, smart, the best in your field, etc?

Personally, my answer is "A good, kind person. Friendly and helpful."

Just wondering what the rest of feel.

EDIT: Based on the first few responses, I'm thinking I should have clarified better.

I'm not talking about your legacy after you're dead, I just mean right here, right now. You have left an impression on people. That is inevitable. Surely there aren't that many people that don't give a fuck what anyone thinks, but I must admit, it is a valid answer. Maybe you are the person who doesn't give a fuck what anyone thinks. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

Corporate America has programmed people to HUSTLE! BE THE BEST! ACHIEVE! MAKE MORE MONEY!!! for so long that they now need to pay someone to come and teach us how to relax, enjoy the moment and be happy again.

I was relieved to see there were no bids on the Nazi trash.

I wonder if there's some guy out there that collects little metal cars who really wants to bid, but doesn't want to be the guy who bought the Nazi coin.

I've been invited to attend a Tim Walz rally tonight, and I have no idea what to expect. Share your stories and get me pumped up to see our next VP!

Update: Everybody was right, lots of standing and clapping, but what I really didn't expect was the sense of family I felt with all these strangers around me. We'd bump into each other, and laugh it off, one guy was telling me about how his son was thinking about going to the college that I work at (I was still wearing my shirt from work), and we all just knew that we were working together to make great things happen. I'll probably skip the next one, but it was a great experience. I'm glad I went, and would recommend going to one if you have a chance, and a candidate you believe in.

This one's for JusticeforPorygon!

Imagine apartments built into what used to be department stores, (Oh, you're JC Penny 203? I'm at Sears 106). Get those old arcades up and running. Set up meal stations at the food court. Once people actually live there, stores will start to move back in.

If I'm unable to finish my life in my own home, that doesn't sound like a terrible option.
