I haven't really had any bad experiences with .ml communities or users. I consider myself a Marxist actually. I mostly saw the China, Russia, and North Korean dick sucking on Reddit. I remember someone on Reddit actually arguing that leftists should use Redstar OS (North Korean Linux distro designed to spy on its users) because its made by a socialist country that cares about its people. Guess that's why they're executed for stealing bread. I'm sorry about your instances bad reputation, I really haven't seen it. Besides, there are assholes in every community.

I'm used to blu-ray and ultra hd blu-ray so now everything else looks like garbage to me. Google are cheap asses. Glad to know I'm not the only one who watches 4k videos on my 720p phone.

Then I gotta teach my mom to use modern GNOME. That sounds like hell. It's fine for younger people but for old people who are familiar with Windows it's a nightmare.

YouTube compresses the shit out of anything uploaded to it. More so than other sites.

Google asking me for €13 a month? Their empire is built upon selling user data. Fuckers should be paying us.

Something that automatically updates. Despite my best efforts my mom still has me update her Mint install.

I just throw lots of dumb shit in my home directory. I actually have the Windows Entertainment Pack for Windows 3.1 in a folder in there. Runs great in WINE. Home directory is great for storing random files.

Been meaning to try CachyOS. It's a gamer friendly Arch based distro. Might be worth looking at. Distro doesn't really matter much at all. Desktop environment does. If you want HDR support KDE and GNOME are your only bet.

Edit: Kubuntu would probably be the easiest to use and setup distro that has HDR support.

I'm listening to Jacques Brel right now. What else y'all got for me? All genres and languages welcome.

The game runs surprisingly well. You can download the DRM-free version of the game from BioMedia Project. The files are hosted with the permission of the LEGO Group. The only fix I did was enabling widescreen support with modern screen resolutions. The instructions for that are here.

I have been experiencing minor graphical issues on several Steam games. I have only encountered issues through Steam. GOG games launched through Heroic and Lutris seem to work flawlessly. I am using Arch Linux and my GPU is an AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT. I'd be grateful for any help

I don't mean better for you or me but better in general. Do you believe our species will ever reach some form of enlightenment or will we destroy ourselves?

Can't we mourn the loss of a furry friend without bringing up immigration? I have lost so much faith in humanity. Nothing is pure and sacred anymore.
