Absolutely, no exaggeration. If workers don't have a right to choose not to work over unsafe or unacceptable conditions, they are enslaved. Yet another reason I have no hope in the Liberals. The right to unionize and strike is absolutely fundamental in a free society.

Not really true if you just stick to modern GTK apps. Almost always if you find a program for a specific purpose using Qt (KDE graphical framework) someone's make a program for the exact same function. Is it basically pointless other than keeping theming and style consistent? Yes, but that's enough for me unless there truly is an essential function missing. Basically the only Qt application I use is Strawberry Music Player because it's extremely featureful.

You could try enabling systemd-oomd. It's a userspace OOM killer and seems to be aggressive enough to mostly stop that from happening.

They noticed, and Loblaws reported "soft sales". It's just that everyone knew the boycott would end so they didn't freak out and sell stocks.

You are failing to learn the lessons from our southern neighbour. These small wins from years ago will convince nobody. We can all see what's happening with our eyes. And definitely don't try to convince me because liberals don't even campaign here.

Sure it does, if you have no idea how the government functions.

There is no fallacy. It's a solid split between NDP and Liberals. And that's really being propped up by the East. In the West it's Conservative vs NDP.

The only shortsighted buffoons I see are the Liberals who have thoroughly failed to meaningfully improve their voters' lives and address any of the many social crises that are impacting us.

I like the title, I like the framing, but unfortunately it's a nothing burger. They need to close the SUV/truck loophole and regulate vehicle size directly.

It's not really her fault. Microsoft pushes people to use their onedrive and pay for a subscription even when people have no clue what it is or what it does. Microsoft is just insanely anti-consumer.

This is unironically a good move for them. As Office gets more and more interconnected you have to wonder if there's a danger of using sensitive data as training for their AI. Not only will it save them money it'll also keep their data secure.

Default? Top left. It should be visually appealing to most people, and it would honestly just be odd to have the default wallpaper be cartoon styled. And the bottom left looks too much like W11. But I think they should all be included as options.
