Ways to help Amazon Labor Union Strike (www.amazonlaborunion.org)

I'm not affiliated with any of the parties involved. Just a big fan of unions, and wanted to raise awareness. Hopefully this isn't against community rules.

I think it means your speedometer is displaying double your actual speed. So you can go at a speed that the speedometer says is twice the speed limit, and you'll actually be going at the speed limit.

Hope that helps 👍

I got a Raytheon for missile targeting systems. Didn't want it on my conscience and got another offer for slightly less money but way more ethical of a company a week later.

added that his wife’s experience has helped give him the perspective that it’s “very hard” for working families in America.

She's a lawyer who went to Yale. Her father was a mechanical engineer and her mother was a molecular biologist. They are a working family, but not the type of working family that should give you a new perspective on how hard it is for working families in America. This is the opposite of a working family that struggles for financial security.

It's actually a bit better because you can be doing other stuff rather than wait in a line in a physical DMV.

On the flipside, something most developed countries consider normal but would blow Japanese minds is the ability to do all "paperwork" on your phone or laptop without any paper ever being printed anywhere. Japan is somehow still a country of fax.
