PromptI had a fun, but difficult time making it. The image was inspired by this amazing scene in the new Fallout TV show. Getting the eyes to look over there and the finger on the trigger were the most challenging parts.

(inked original-art:1.2), (lineart:1.31), (fine-details:1.3), RAW-format, <lora:add_detail:1> <lora:realistic:.4>, <lora:3DMM_V12:0.25>, 3DMM, <lora:sharpen-soften:-0.25>, 1girl, solo, from above, long_hair, parted bangs, angry, black_hair, holding, upper_body, weapon, holding_weapon, gun, holding_gun, handgun, vaultsuit, looking at viewer, cinematic,

Negative prompt: (easynegative), (bad-hands-5), (sketch), low-res, text, watermark, (blurried-eyes), (jpeg-artifact), missing-limbs, multiple-characters, high-contrast, strong-shadows, black and white, monochrome,

Model: Arthemy Comics v5.0

This was of course followed by much upscaling and inpainting along the way.

Theme

This week, you are invited to explore the concept of "payback". This can manifest in various forms—literal interpretations of revenge, poetic justice, or even karmic outcomes. Depict scenes that tell a story of retribution or redemption, whether in a personal, social, or abstract context.

Bonus examples:

(These are just examples of me trying to use other image generators to see if I could make what I did with SD, please do not only make images of angry women with guns! 😂)

MidJourney

Dalle

I've been trying to transition from SD1.5 to SDXL for a while, but old prompting habits die hard.

Even more difficult was finding a model to produce the look I prefer. Most seem to love realism, 3D pixar style, anime, and super airbrushed.

If you have any tips for SDXL models, loras, prompting for this style, etc. please let me know!

parameters:

1girl, demon woman with bangs and ram horns and wings, holding bloody human heart, solo, sitting with knees up, (full body:0.6), looking at viewer, (dark fantasy theme:1.1) (glowing eyes:1.05), thick lines, flat shading

Negative prompt: low quality, deformed, embedding:negativeXL_D, embedding:unaestheticXL_Sky3.1,

Steps: 10, Sampler: dpmpp_3m_sde_simple, CFG scale: 1.0, Seed: 212036223314935, Size: 1024x1024, Model hash: 268a170aa6, Model: grogmixTURBO_v10

(and some inpainting/upscaling)

Molotov Cockatiel (sopuli.xyz)

Inspired by this post and the complaint about jpeg artifacts:
https://lemmy.world/post/13601731

Stable Diffusion models were refusing to actually add flames to the bird, so I went with Dalle and then outpainted with RealCartoon3D v12.

Prompt: cockatiel phoenix, flame on head, Fiery orange and yellow plumage, defiant gaze towards the viewer, perched on a smoldering branch, dusk lighting, shadowed forest background, faint glow of flames, scattered ashes in the air, singed feathers, intense eye contact

In light of some feedback on the original post, I hope this version is more acceptable.

Deepest apologies that you are still able to see some of the skin of her shins.

(She even has a pocket now!)

Judgement's Blade (sopuli.xyz)

In an age where magic weaves through the very fabric of reality, there exists an order of militant witches known for their steadfast guardianship of the realms. This particular witch, a paragon of her kind, is renowned not only for her formidable prowess in battle but also for the unexpected gentleness that glimmers in her sapphire eyes—a striking contrast to the charged, arcane energy crackling along the blade of her enchanted knife.

She walks the cobbled streets of a village that whispers tales of old, her presence a fierce tempest of both fear and awe. To those who meet her gaze, she is an enigma: a warrior whose very essence is laced with both the fury of the storm and the calm of the eye within it.

The beholder, a luckless conscript in a foolhardy raid on the village, is caught in the spell of her ethereal allure and the merciful promise that dwells within her gaze. Despite the chaos that had led him to this moment, in her eyes he finds a silent requiem—a poignant acknowledgment of his misbegotten path that now weaves towards his inexorable end.

What happened to his hand and why has no one mentioned this? Are those burns or what?

Using a VPN, even if the server is located in the same country, provides several benefits:

  1. Privacy: It encrypts your internet traffic, hiding your online activities from your ISP and potential eavesdroppers.

  2. Security: It secures your data, especially on public Wi-Fi networks.

  3. Bypass Restrictions: It can bypass internet censorship or network restrictions in workplaces.

  4. Avoid ISP Throttling: It can prevent ISP throttling based on content type or data usage, ensuring consistent internet speed and performance.

Are YOU stupid?

Meanwhile in Germany...

You're legally entitled to six weeks of continuous sick leave paid by your employer, after which your health insurer will take over the costs. If you've had sick leave for the same illness multiple times in the same year, these days will be accumulated. After six weeks of regular paid sick leave, you’ll receive Krankengeld (lit. 'sick money') for a maximum of 90 percent of your wage after taxes for up to 72 weeks.

Haven't seen anyone else mention this yet, but this seems to be the only app (installed as PWA) that has mod options. Well done!

The Birth of a Time Shaper (files.catbox.moe)

Elysia stepped onto the gleaming platform, her heart aflutter with the promise of an adventure no one before her had ever experienced. She was about to breach the boundaries of the temporal realm and experience the fluidity of time itself. The euphoria she felt as the time machine whirred into motion was palpable, her eyes sparkling with dreams of the unexplored past and the mysterious future. Little did she know then, just how indelibly this voyage through the ages would transform her.

Years, centuries, millennia thrummed through Elysia's very being, each passing epoch a torrent of torment and revelation. The forgotten despair of fallen civilizations, the suffocating gloom of lost eras, the relentless terrors of apocalyptic futures — each bore into her soul, brutally reshaping her innocence into a harrowed understanding of existence. The spirited adventurer, once buoyant with the thrill of exploration, was consumed by time, her optimism and awe eroded away, leaving behind an entity less a woman, and more a specter born of the temporal abyss.

The ages had not only etched lines of wisdom onto her countenance but had also bestowed upon her a formidable power. The woman who once stepped onto the time platform with stars in her eyes and dreams in her heart had been irrevocably transformed. Now, Elysia was a Time Shaper — a melancholic deity, a guardian of the grim past and the tormented future, her very essence forever interwoven with the merciless ebb and flow of time itself.

I think that was before this John Oliver thing. Since the subreddit rule also says no screenshots, but the post even says screenshots of him are fine. So we'll see ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This is great. Tomorrow I'll see what I can do with stable diffusion.
