Like how you're using various federated socials. Whish there was one like YouTube.
No kidding. I've tried to use Peer Tube but it was absurdly confusing.
Lol for real, I'm still looking for a single instance with subtitles (T - T)
Veronica at !veronicaexplains_channel@tilvids.com (link to channel) puts subtitles on all of her videos if you like Linux-related content, but she's more the exception than the rule. The thing is that YouTube has auto-generated subtitles, which is a thing I think no other video platfom offers.
That's really good, I do watch one of her videos on YouTube from time to time, glad to see she's so committed!

I believe this plugin should enable any instance to generate the subtitles just like YouTube does, but I haven't seen one use it, I wonder why, maybe it's somehow problematic?
If you don't mind me asking, what did you find confusing?
I've not used conky since 2018.
My authy came from aur, no snap required.
I would say "just use KDE at this point" but I run a just use GNOME at this point kinda desktop on KDE sooo... good job.
Yes, you'll notice a few snap packages. This is because Authy is distributed on Linux as a snap.
Is that a Flooko painting for the background?
What is that system monitor? Is it conky?
Yep, using conky-grapes.
