Among the 15~ million lines of codes in the GCC source code, there is a single CSS line.

Who dares to call CSS bloat now? More like GSS eh.

When Elon Musk wants to see your top 10 most salient lines of code.

[-] sebastiancarlos@lemmy.sdf.org 15 points 1 year ago

it's surely one of the CSS lines of all time

Oh, so css is in there - I'd assumed it would be a false positive.

idk what cloc is, but i'm guessing your client is the cause, as it reads as 'brainfuck' to me, no censoring.

edit: nevermind, i thought you were seeing the above commenter as censored, i hadn't even seen it in the OP.

Looking at the link that was posted it appears to be a dummy CSS file to test some part of the go standard library that works with html and CSS.

That single line of Lisp is probably (defmacro generate-compiler (...) ...) which GCC folks call every time they decide to implement a new compiler 😆

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
