Is the rail link called the Trojan Dragon or something?

Washington announces it now has the capacity for low speed passenger trains to get stuck behind grain freight and go even slower so it takes take 29h to get to Chicago.

They have to stop in major cities so drug addicts can loot them.

It also goes to Detroit despite the city being abandoned.

Next: Stop Taipei!

That’s cool. It also has a roughly 0% possibility of actually being done, regardless of whether or not the technology is available.

Just needs a Chinese unification. Yeah probably unlikely.

CCP did the same for Tibet. Just to send more Xi's thugs to rape and pillage the country.

Wait fr? When

Mainland China is about 100 miles away. Thats a damn long distance. Strictly from an engineering perspective, that would be incredibly impressive feat if they did it.

Did a quick search and it looks like the longest rail bridges now hit a max of roughly 1/4 what this Taiwan-to-China bridge would need to be.

They said they can do it. Never said how long it'll stand after they do it.

[-] Hazdaz@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

True. But this would not be a cheap project if they legitimately attempted it, so they probably would want to keep the Chinesium quality to a minimum so it doesn't fall apart after it's first use.

[-] yeather@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 year ago

Chinesium lol, even so, even if they get the best quality everything and actually make it structurally sound. It's the Chinese, they'll fuck it up somehow and blame it on western sabotage.
