Nice work of Rae to turn that damsel event into a Claire opportunity. Having her pull a Pikachu and ignore type advantages.

I really really love about this show that there's a scene with a slime and tentacles, but no ecchi fanservice in sight. I believe we're roughly at the end of volume 1 now? I look forward to next week's episode, when Claire starts showing some personal interest in our MC-chan.

This is what happens when the show is written by a woman.

And given the novel’s sympathetic depiction of homosexuality, you have a good idea where she stands on the issue as well.
