Hm, I can not imagine why Hungary and Poland are the only EU countries in which the people dont trust the public TV... absolutely unexplainable

I don’t know what it’s like in Europe but if it’s anything like the US TV news is definitely not trustworthy. Written news is much better.

we basically have public TV stations that everyone has to pay a fee for, which are supposed to be neutral in reporting on news.

And in many cases this actually works as can be seen in the linked picture. Also most countries have relatively strong organs for overseeing these public news stations.

It's beautiful to see that most europeans actually are smart enough to see the difference between propoganda and news.
