Blocked comments still in inbox? (lemm.ee)

I‘m assuming this isn’t exclusive to voyager, but I‘ve been getting some spam comments lately and even if I block/report the people the messages are still visible in my inbox (with some unpleasant images). Any way to avoid that?

I made an issue about this in Lemmy a couple months ago and it should be resolved in v0.19

edit: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/3629 actually this is only for direct messages

I’ve had the same problem on Pixelfed. Could it be a flaw in ActivityPub?
