So, I'm doing a pokemon moon run and I have a machoke. Is there any way in single player to evolve it?

If there isn't can you find wild machamp?

I'm on an emulator so I can't do stuff like pokemon bank.

There are 3rd party tools you can use (you'll have to figure that out yourself tho, I haven't used them myself) but AFAIK there's no legit way to get a trade-evolved mon without trading, and unfortunately there are no wild Machamp in Sun/Moon.

Are you mobile or PC?

I have no clue about mobile, but for PC, there's PKHex if you're down for a tool. It's pretty easy to use, you'll just have to find where your emulator stores save files.

I wound up using that and then putting the file back.

Its a machamp now, only issue is I think I lost the trade xp bonus

Its still a good physical attacker tho

Go into PKHex, pull up the Machamp, and in one of the bottom two tabs on the left, you can fake the trade flag. You'll have to generate a trainer name and ID, flag it as Traded, and it'll have the OG Trainer info and the Trade EXP bonus.

K. Wait,

I cloned a machine that was traded and turned the clone into a machamp, does that mean the clone gets trade buff?

So long as it has the Trade flag set in OT(Original Trainer) information.

You can change the O.T, the O.T I.D number, and it has a box you check to say it's traded so the game recognizes it.

So that means I could buff my whole team?

Not here to help (sorry) but how is it? Thinking of getting sun or mokn for citra. I haven't played it before.

Moon at native runs perfectly. On my retroid pocket 4 pro.

Only issue is z moves drop fps to about 25. Atm I'm about halfway through the game

Be warned online stuff no longer works Also here's a tip:

Early game, the NPC traded machop in route 3 is key.

It will easily carry you through about hlsf the game if not more

Nice! Thanks for the tips. Would you say sun or moon is better? I'll definetly grab machop.

[-] sleepybisexual@beehaw.org 1 points 10 months ago

Well, I'd say they equal. Just avoid the ultra games. Grab the machop before trial 1 it will quickly become your ace lol

Ultra endgame softlocks you if you offline. And the servers are dead

The machop migth be moon exclusive, idk. Also solgaleo is kinda bad in terms of typing Moon is the better pick

BTW, you may have a crash about once every island.

Make sure to save lots
