Ah, so it's a two-step power-grap for Mike:
- force municipalities like Surry to use Provincial policing despite a voter preference so strong it was a campaign platform
- control those police forces more completely
Don't get me wrong: the SQ and OPP are great if the mounties are too stringent. But what's Mike got against better-trained lower-paid federal cops except which office they answer to?
