The answer is clearly yes, if this comic is anything to go by.

Comic 🤔

[-] Coasting0942@reddthat.com 75 points 2 months ago

Disgusting. “Save button”

Humor: more cells means higher midichlorian count

Cynic: we’re all going to be rebuilt like this when the AI solves cold fusion. Probably for the better.

Boner: no one said anything about a PAIR of Death Stars…

Is it just me or did it make her face look different somehow?

[-] lemmy_get_my_coat@lemmy.world 40 points 2 months ago
[-] burrito@sh.itjust.works 8 points 2 months ago

I looked for a long time and I'm not seeing the face. I'll keep checking.

[-] ICastFist@programming.dev 4 points 2 months ago

It's hard to escape the dual gravity wells, I know I haven't managed either

[-] Empricorn@feddit.nl 2 points 2 months ago

They have a face?

[-] Fredselfish@lemmy.world 13 points 2 months ago

Not just you I thought she was replaced with someone else. But I think whoever they exchange her with has a smaller face.

[-] SurfinBird@lemmy.ca 8 points 2 months ago

Pretty sure that’s Natalie Porkman. (Just made that up but somehow might turn out to be true.)

[-] DarkThoughts@fedia.io 5 points 2 months ago

Easiest thing to achieve this result is to let the AI redraw the entire image, which means it is somewhat different to the original, even past the obvious change.

I sure did. Am tempted to crop out ani to improve focus too

[-] drbluefall@toast.ooo 10 points 2 months ago

Make sure to upscale, too!

[-] Etterra@lemmy.world 31 points 2 months ago

Yeah, by a factor of 5 at the very least.

[-] OR3X@lemm.ee 28 points 2 months ago

Oh shiii, it gave her back problems!

[-] ICastFist@programming.dev 4 points 2 months ago

Don't worry, AI will take care of that, too

[-] VerbFlow@lemmy.world -3 points 2 months ago

Whoops, got the parentheses and brackets mixed up.

[-] RightHandOfIkaros@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago

The correct notation is: ! [flat brackets for text description of image] (parentheses for image link)

All without spaces between the symbols.

[-] threelonmusketeers@sh.itjust.works 5 points 2 months ago

Also: Omit the exclamation point if the link is to a regular web page and not an image.

IMPORTANT

Please do not post the "good friend" or similar copypasta

==========

Our galactic citizens have requested more specific rules, so here are a few.

The general idea is, if you're looking here for rules, you're probably someone who doesn't need to have them spelled out. You're fine. But anyway:

  1. This is a community for Star Wars memes. This means typically screenshots of Star Wars media with some text or context that's meant to be funny and/or thoughtful. All SW media is welcome: movies, games, comic books, fanart... Other kinds of content, like video links or meta memes (about this community, or Lemmy), are fine as well, just keep it on topic.

  2. We are all friends here, and love (sometimes love to hate) Star Wars. Be nice to each other.

  3. As fans of fictional media, we can be passionate. If you very strongly disagree with something or someone, take a deep breath before reacting. Anger leads to the dark side!

  4. Everything in Star Wars has happened a long time ago, in a galaxy far away, and it's a rich universe of millions of words and millions of years of history. So current Earthly matters really shouldn't concern us here. In other words, leave politics, philosophies and convictions behind the door. This applies even if it's about something related to Star Wars.

  5. Original content is preferred. Reposts are fine, just please limit to a maximum of 3 per day, per citizen. It is recommended, but not required, to mark original memes as (OC) and reposts as (repost).

  6. Local mods are the Jedi council. They may take actions that are necessary to maintain peace and stability of the Republic, even beyond the rules outlined here. Follow their guidance.

  7. Regular rules of the Lemmy.world instance apply.
