Is this just a thing we're going to do, now? Have a performative impeachment effort every time there's a blue president, just so Trump doesn't have to have his feelings hurt?
It's not just about soothing Trump's feelings. By repeatedly doing this they are trying to dilute the credibility of Trump's impeachments. It's their way of saying "See anyone can impeach a president! So Trump's impeachments don't mean anything!"
I mean if the traitorous shitpile of a person becomes president again he will have to have an impeachment filed against him on day one by his own admission, so they have to dilute it
When Nixon faced impeachment, it eventually led to the creation of Fox News. Seems logical that the GOP would take Trump's two impeachments and multiple felonies to create something even more fucked up, like the death of our democracy.
