Sodding Amazon misdelivered my pakidge - looks like they just dropped it at the nearest unit doorway, despite mine being one unit down and opposite and very clearly labelled. And of course it was the one doorstep I missed on the recce before I had to pick up the papou.
Bang go any thoughts of me getting Amazon Prime if that's the standard of service I can expect in this neck of the woods.

The trades left my place around 2pm, sent me their invoice then, 3 hours later I get a message โ€œhi just checking you received my invoice?โ€ as to prompt me to pay now. Are you serious? I get a whole 3 hours before a follow up?

I'm so tempted to grab one of those magazines from the stand that the johos set up outside Coles and just keep power walking on. Every day.

All the sewing is finished. Don't think I'll drag out my machine out for a while. I'll take pics of the upholstery cushions in the morning when the light is better. So much getting rid of stuff still happening. :) Been so busy haven't really watched any tv , movies or news and worse, haven't been posting here much but I do read everything you all write. ๐Ÿ˜˜.

Iโ€™m wondering if I should spray a stinky orange cleaner or repellent around outside to discourage the visiting cats. I like them but Melbcat gets really stressed out and being an indoor kitty could feel like sheโ€™s trapped with threats outside.

I just know orange oil and other essential oils/ strong scents are an asthma trigger and might waft back inside ๐Ÿค”

I orange oil my wooden floors and neither my asthma nor the cats are bothered by it. Everyone is differentโ€ฆ

Nah, you'll feel like shit if it affects your cat.

Plumbers at my place today fixing the cause of my recent sewer pipe blockages, costing me a pretty penny but I have no choice. Hate forced spending of money on property maintenence, and especially on something I won't be able to see. Backyard is being dug up to replace an underground pipe, some plants had to get pulled out which is annoying. Didn't have the best sleep and they turned up so early so I'll be knocking back a few coffees to get through today.

Todayโ€™s protests are hypocritical. Protesting violence with violence? Some of those interviewed seemed to think what they were doing was ok because they believe they have moral superiority and therefore assaulting people attending the expo is ok? Hmm where have I heard that before.

The rains have started here

I am still super tired, but laying in bed listening to the rain wrapped up on top of my electric blanket is actually really nice. Unfortunately I can't enjoy it much, because there's so many loud cars and motorbikes around these parts recently, and there's too many helicopters and planes flying about

Also the rains have stopped now
