6 years of Android version updates
Terrible headline. It's not record-breaking even for Samsung.
It is for their non-flagship devices - those were always kinda left behind with software support.

Not less important. At this sort of lifespan the availability of parts becomes an important question.
And the ease of repair, too. I have experience repairing laptops and phones, but even so, a lot of phones are just too much trouble for me.
Historically, my phone batteries become nearly unusable after 3 years. Several of my old phones would still be usable (with extended support from LineageOS) if I could replace the batteries, but the labor cost is prohibitive. It doesn't make sense to spend $200 on a battery replacement when the phone is barely worth half that.
The A1x series has always been very low budget, slow, etc, anyway, in 6 years the phone will be unusable.
but the software updates is never complete, only pixels provides full software updates regularly
Samsung never completed any of their software updates?
