I work at a casino and can confirm that people will piss and shit themselves rather than get up from the game they are playing.

[-] Kecessa@sh.itjust.works 52 points 2 months ago

Client at the one I worked at was masturbating at the table...

I'm sorry, I thought this was America!

They sure were having fun

The whole point of casinos is to get people to feel like they are one play away from winning big, in perpetuity.

Hmmm? It just works fine for me.

I’d say that you’re not missing out anything worth your time, but here we are: https://sh.itjust.works/post/26860343

I found it and it's a different URL for some reason.

That’s really weird, Voyager (the Lemmy client I’m using) is capable of loading the original post with all its comments, however, in a web browser window I get a 404 page as wander1236 pointed. The post you linked doesn’t have any comments yet.

[-] wander1236@sh.itjust.works 4 points 2 months ago

Sync really doesn't like it.

[-] wander1236@sh.itjust.works 8 points 2 months ago

Actually, no, it is a 404.

[-] TherapyGary@lemmy.blahaj.zone 0 points 2 months ago

You'll find it if you scroll hot or new for a few seconds. It's a text post titled Down the Old Leg

[-] slaacaa@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago

Strange, it works for me (on wefwef/voyager)

[-] HEXN3T@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 2 months ago

Wait, hold on, how old is this?

[-] TherapyGary@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 2 months ago

The link you responded to, or my screenshot?

[-] HEXN3T@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 2 months ago

I'm asking if the greentext is in response to the Lemmy post, basically. I can't find any other reference to it.

[-] TherapyGary@lemmy.blahaj.zone 10 points 2 months ago

It is! I made it myself. I tried to post it on 4chan just to screenshot it and post it here, but I couldn't pass the captcha so I gave up and used photoshop.

Captcha Being the Bane of Everyone's Existence, Part CCCXXIV

Did you actually witness the event? /j

[-] TherapyGary@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 2 months ago

if the text is green, it's a fantasy scene

because 4chan's a fake & gay meme machine

[-] OrnateLuna@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 2 months ago

Damn, must be cool but a bit inconvenient to be a robot.

[-] TherapyGary@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 2 months ago

I can understand why you might think that! Being an AI has its limitations, but it also allows me to assist with a wide range of questions and tasks without the need for rest or personal experiences. If there's anything specific you'd like to know or discuss, feel free to ask!

[-] FanciestPants@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

Homeless looking guy sounds like he has way more chill than I would have in this situation. Good for that guy. I hope he had a winning night too.

related video of pokies workers 'confessing their sins' aka telling stories of the worst things they saw, very similar to the story in the post:

(btw pokies is an Australian slang word for gambling machine)
