The McDonald's restaurant where Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump briefly worked on Sunday failed its last health inspection, documents show.

The former president manned the fry station and served takeout to people in the drive-thru lane in Feasterville-Trevose in Bucks County, a key swing voter area in battleground Pennsylvania. The restaurant was closed to the public for Trump's visit.

Trump, a big fan of McDonald's food and a self-professed germophobe, wore an apron over his shirt and tie but did not wear gloves or a hairnet during his visit, stating that his hands were "nice and clean." According to the Meidas Touch, he went straight to work without washing his hands.

Employees not washing their hands was one of the reasons that restaurant failed its most recent inspection.

Guaranteed to fail the next health inspection too after Trump's leaking diaper wreaks every floor surface.

Twist health inspection was held the moment he stepped out of the kitchen

Trump's hate messaging is sending people away from Trump and Republicans. However lame, this is attempting to show that he can get hired for other jobs after president, implying competence and that he is unimpaired by dementia.

Looky at the jingly keys, don't look at the hippo eating democracy.

It was a campaign stunt to poke fun at Harris and to make him appear more "one of the regular joes." If you think that making it look like he could get a job at McDonald's after his presidency would somehow prove to voters he is fit for the office... Dear God political analysis is not for you.

challenging someones high school job is so wierd to. It would be so amusing to me if I was running for office and my opponent wanted to challenge that I had washed dishes in the college dorm. Um ok. whatever.

The way I see it is that he's selling himself to a bunch of rubes as the one who is looking out for the little guy. Which is absurd, but the idea that Harris may have had a service job at some point, showing that she actually comes from being one of the regular joes, that really calls into question who actually understands them better. So of course he has to lie and say it didn't happen.

Another unforced error. Campaign could have and should have checked everything that could distract from the candidate.

[-] kent_eh@lemmy.ca 2 points 19 hours ago

Don't assume his campaign is being run by the best people.

All it takes to work for him is to be a sycophant.

[-] 5oap10116@lemmy.world 4 points 23 hours ago

As he is a known germaphobe, might this steer him away from the clown's hamberders as his go to meal?

[-] Sam_Bass@lemmy.world 2 points 20 hours ago

hate for those kids to lose their jobs but that place should be condemned now

[-] thefartographer@lemm.ee 1 points 22 hours ago

Of course. They didn't mind a giant turd manning the fry station, what's a few small ones sprinkled around the place?
