Leeds, Grenville, Thousand Islands, be Rideau Lakes Conservative MPP Steve Clarke's chief of staff. Remember that. Clarke was either complicit in the 8 billion dollars of graft because he knew what his chief of staff was doing under his nose or incompetent because he didn't. There is no, "I was completely on top of what was going on in my office and what my chief of staff was doing but had no idea this was going on." The Ford government has committed billions of dollars of graft and glad handing to its wealthy donors and friends while handing you crumbs. Now they're going to give you back $200 of your tax dollars to try to buy your vote instead of putting the money into healthcare or education where it is desperately needed. I'm going to sign my cheque directly over to my local hospital to help them to try to buy a CT machine that the government should be funding in the first place. I encourage everyone in Ontario who gets one of these cynical political stunt cheques to do the same.

How in the fuck is this legal. If I use my personal email for professional communications I can be fined and lose my license, but these shady fucking grifters have no consequences?

Well, who's going to hold them responsible, really?

How is there no auditing of politicians' communications? These jerkoff's are actively trying to kill our ability to communicate privately while using private communications to fuck is over.

Imagine that's all it took - just use personal email to commit illegal acts and the government can't do anything!

In all seriousness, hopefully the OPP investigation is, in fact, ongoing and will be able to subpoena the emails, assuming he hasn't already deleted them.
