I wonder if there's a vegan equivalent to salami? The best part of salami is the spices they put in it so surely there could be a plant based equivalent to the filling part
I think it is also the fat which has absorbed the spices and spreads that flavour through the dish. You could probably infuse an oil with the spices and use that in a lot of dishes, but if you are trying to get something to eat like a stick of salami it would be tricky to get that sort of texture etc.

The plastic bottle irrigation isnโt working as intended. Leaving the caps off means the water all just runs through fast rather than remaining as a reserve for the plant to sip from. Of course. The opening is too large for capillary action, there is too much air pressing the water down and out the holes.
If putting the cap on quickly after filling doesnโt fix the problem I may remove them and replace with terracotta pots.
I donโt want to have toโฆ at least Iโm doing all the initial mistakes on the zucchini plants which are quite tough
Edit: It didnโt work even with the caps on. I think I made too many holes. Fuck it Iโm just buying some standard drip spikes.
I was also flipping up leaves to check for whiteflies and accidentally snapped the central vein of a leaf ๐ญWhat the hell. Iโve never done that. Iโm distracted and out of sorts today
