One of those things I wish every once in a while, to meet the actor/actress I most enjoy and just ask them questions about their roles and what they were thinking.

Of course the worry is that they are completely opposite in real life and it would ruin the illusion, so a catch-22. I both want to know more about them, but also I don't want to know anything.

To kick us off, some here know my favorite actress is Felicity Jones, and I would absolutely love to meet her and know more about how she chooses a role, she is very selective now. She is also very secretive about her process and how she gets into character, yet she is one of the best biographical actresses in my opinion after Jane Hawking and RBG.

A fun one I think would be Woody Harrelson, talking to him from Cheers up to Hunger Games and more, he seems fun to have a beer, but he also seems like a prime "actually an asshole" candidate.

David Tennant -- "Wanna go get a beer?"

Because I would want to respect the man for just being. I don't wanna get all up in his business. I don't want any personal bits unless he's willing to share them himself, and I wouldn't want to inconvenience him. If his answer was "No", that'd be acceptable too. His work is amazing, and I respect his talent.

Literally! Such a fantastic artist and am always in awe of his vocal control (his American accent could use some work though 😹).

And off the stage/screen he seems like a genuinely kind person as well: https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/david-tennant-shows-support-trans-community-f-off-let-people-be_uk_663b68e5e4b0a6d4a2472392

Keanu Reeves ofc. Have a beverage with the most decent human being

He's also one of the most terrifying if he turned out not to be great and it was just an act

Honestly, none of them. I dunno why, but I wouldn't want to do that kind of fan interaction with an actor at all. I don't even like it much with any creative person/artist, though I have geeked out over David Mack, at least the first time I met him. Went total fanboy lol. Was asking him about the tiniest little details in the stuff he'd done at that point.

He handled it really well, and (luckily for me) was a little surprised I was asking art questions more than comic questions, so he ended up getting into it (or so it seemed).

When it comes to actors, I tend to want to keep them as actors, a bit distant. Makes it easier to enjoy their work for me. Well, for the few I've met at all, anyway. There's something about seeing the actor irl that makes it harder to watch them and forget they aren't actually the character. It fades after a while, so far, but I wouldn't want to get that close with the ones I enjoy the most, not when I can find interviews where they talk about what I would ask anyway.

That being said, I would pick Ed Norton. Mainly because he's the sort that has been pretty detailed in the past in interviews, so it would be nice to get even deeper into his technique. He's really good at explaining the way he approaches a role.

Fair, on each account. I both want to and don't want to meet them, very conflicting feelings.

I wouldn't expect Ed Norton, maybe I haven't seen enough of his movies. Of course fight club, what else would you recommend with him?

Oh man, American History X. It's not only my favorite performance of his, I would argue it's at least top three if not number one in terms of sheer immersion. Even after seeing it dozens of times, I forget it's Ed Norton and just sink into it.

However, Death to Smoochy is a must watch after all his heavy drama work. AHX is a hard watch in a lot of ways, so having Smoochy to cleanse the palate as well as contrast his craft work is a good idea.

I'd probably ask Julianne Moore anything and everything about her playing Sarah Palin, mainly what was her goal in doing so and what her opinion is of Palin as well. She played Palin with such pathos that she has to have complex feelings. I wanna know what those are.

Also, I'd probably just fawn over her and ask her how she's so amazing and gorgeous.

Probably the second for me...

Douglas Kenny.

We'd drink some beers and laugh a little.
