Well, Delaware's only real claim to fame other than grinding to a total standstill every time Joe Biden goes home is chicken farming. So I don't find it at all implausible or susprising that some people there are exposed to a lot of birds. If it was going to happen anywhere, it was probably going to be there.

They're famous to business bros too. Something like 60% of large US companies are incorporated there, regardless of where they're actually based. Before e-filing a flu case in Delaware could have become a pandemic based on CFO travel alone.
