Carried a Pixel Watch for a while but it was so frustrated me so went back to my G Shock.

Got my Fox M390 knife too for a bit of class. We';re a bit limited here in the UK.

What was so frustrating about the pixel watch? I'm rocking a galaxy watch 4 but was thinking or switching due to just getting a pixel phone.

I have had pretty much every pixel phone. Got the Pixel watch for free.

I hate it for a few reasons

  • battery, lasts a day if you hardly use it.
  • So slow, it lags and I feel like I swipe and have to wait all the damn time.
  • Connecting my bluetooth headphones (WF100XM4). Constantly forgets and I have no audio.
  • Burn in, using AOD, it "burns in" super quickly.
  • Cant wirelessly charge from my phone.
  • The charger always draws a couple of watts even when not being used, so turns my charger into a slower charger as it thinks 2 devices are connected.
  • Massive bezels look so 2016.
  • Really slow switching to wifi for downloads, again friction to using it.

Thanks for the details. Honestly might just go back to automatic watches after this one.

The wood on that slipjoint is beautiful.

M390 seems to be the steel and not the model name

Yeah M390 is the steel.

Fox Knives Livri Slipjoint is the model.
