I just tried to post something to a community on Feddit.UK; I managed to submit it to the wrong one (an unrelated Lemmy.ml community) twice via the Memmy app. In the end I logged into the website, whereupon it was possible to post in the right place after a number of error messages.

I’m quite certain that the correct community was selected in Memmy. The community that I inadvertently spammed was alphabetically before, but not the one immediately above, which is interesting.

Has anyone else experienced this?

It’s possibly a glitch.

I’m open to the possibility that I’ve been an idiot, but twice?

Thoughts please.

I haven't experienced it yet, but I was in a conversation earlier where someone posted something that was not anywhere close to what we were discussing. It wasn't trolling just looked like he was posting his part of the conversation in the wrong post. Perhaps something is fucky with Lemmy today? or maybe just memmy?
