Depends on what you are expecting. If you want privacy, then no. If you want larger file limits or something, maybe yes.

I live in a foreign country. The translation feature is worth it to me. Annoyed its behind a paywall.

well, it does have a high backend cost. They have to cover it somehow.

I don't know how TG implements it, but how about Mastodon? They also have a translation tool.

I think it's worth it, starting from the fact that you support them for offering you free lifetime storage for all your chats, files and media

Yea I’ve been considering getting it to cause I think the app is great and dont mind supporting them. Larger file size limits and translation is handy too.

I find it weird that the PC pricing is same as iOS despite the lack of 30% apple tax tho
