Madison, a former LMG employee, dropped some bombshell tweets about why she left.

I was consistently belittled by certain members of upper management. My work was called "dogshit" I was called "incompetent". When I would reach out to managers and try to get help with these situations, I would be told to "put on my big girl pants" and be "more assertive".

Sana all, blocked ang reddit sa company wifi, lol! Probably not ideal for IT‌ companies given Reddit and Stackoverflow/exchange are some of the more useful sites when looking up tech-related stuff, but well, one can dream.

I drank with some of my coworkers. Ayun, di ko feel. I just felt so bored kahit may tama na ako, I just ended leaving, walking home alone. It turns out mas enjoy ko pa maglakad ng 6km na may tama over talking. Ito na po ang cardio ko for the day.

Maybe I'm the problem. It just felt unstimulating. They'll just talk about things I don't really give a fuck about and I'll just quip random noises to seem interested. I liked walking tho, I was even humming super shy out loud. I'm sorry I don't care kung sinong crush mo, ilang taon ka na, kung gusto mo siya edi kausapin mo pabebe ka pa dyan. Hindi na bagay sa edad natin ganyang behavior. Go for what you want.

Basta ang cheesy. Natandaan ko tuloy bigla yung guy coworker na sinabihan si girl coworker ng panget ang sama-sama pa but his body language says otherwise. What is this, elementary? Pota. Nung lasing na nga dun niya lang inamin type niya si girl. Parang tanga.

Pardon my thoughts. I'm just cringing. It was an interesting walk.

Go for what you want

as someone who was recently letdown after being upfront with somebody, i understand why people are hesitant to be so bold about their feelings. lucky for me, she was very kind about it. others, not so.

gawain ko rin yan, maglakad after a drinking session. there is something magical walking in the middle of the night while a little bit high from the alcohol.

mas maswerte lang ako sa mga kainuman. my coworkers are well-travelled, intelligent, and passionate about their work. have a healthy sense of humour too. i have learned and been entertained a lot while drinking with them. cant fault you though, kung puro lovelife palagi topic niyo, nakakaumay ang conversation.

glad you enjoy your new found hobby. talking to myself makes me realize a lot of things as well.. whether on a jog or bike.. or just simple when drinking alone at night... its fun.. specially when you get to your double digits personas...

It seems the eugenics guy is not stopping his copypastas of eugenics, depopulation, jeepney phaseout, and his authoritarian fetish despite his 21 alt accounts were banned/suspended in the past like Shohei's. Sa r/adultingph pa lang, tadtad na ng spam niya about "stop at 1 kid", "lifestyle inflation", at iba pang copypastas sa iba't-ibang threads (same with r/ph and other PH and non-PH subs) kahit nagpupuyat pa siya sa madaling araw. Tapos feeling mod pa siya na kasing ugali ni Ataginez.

I suspect there's a possibility that he has signs of being in the spectrum because of his repetitious behavior.

Nagse-stream pa rin ba sila ng films na naka-fullscreen (hindi nasa original aspect ratio)? 2021 last subscription ko, ang pangit ng ibang content nila na naka-crop to "fit sa TV."

I'll consider replacing my Netflix to this one after final season ng Sex Education.

6 different numbers have been calling me for a week now. I don't answer cause I've been receiving scam texts as well. And I'm thinking if I know them or if it's really important, they'd send an sms. Or hindi na ba uso mag-text ngayon?

Been using the Artemis app and it's really great considering na beta pa lang sya.

Sayang lang hindi ata federated ung artemis.camp sa c/philippines or I'd probably post this comment from there.

Seems like the God of Tech took a break and then resumed smiting me. This time, it's my monitors that were afflicted.

I have a dual-monitor system here, two fairly similar monitors but one was connected via HDMI and the other was connected via VGA. After restarting after a system upgrade (nothing that I deemed unusual at that time anyways), the monitor connected via HDMI stopped working. Worse, the remaining monitor started behaving weirdly. A bit confused and a bit rattled, I started changing things at random, switching cables around, turning off one monitor, turning the "working" monitor on and off again, and lost track of which changes led to which behavior. This has gone on for a good eight to twelve hours.

In the end, I asked someone for help, which turned almost disastrous. Both monitors stopped working almost for real. It turned out that a change in configuration made things worse, and all I had to do to gain some semblance of proper operation (sans one monitor) is to disconnect the supposedly broken one. It also turned out that my computer recognizes that the broken monitor is connected to it (when it actually is), but it doesn't know what to do with it, and thus explains the weird stuff happening with my display.

Long story short, I might need an exorcism, lol! Exorcism muna kasi mejo kulang sa pera pambili ng bagong monitor at possibly video card.

Update:

It worked, but I don't know why. I just shuffled monitors around (since I tried some of my old monitors here to see if anyone can be used in the meanwhile), and when I gave up and put the "broken" monitor in place, now with a VGA connector instead of an HDMI connector, it worked! I don't know why, though. It shouldn't have worked, but I'll take this with thanks nevertheless.
