Reputation laundering. The LDS church collected $33 billion in tithes and $15 billion in profit on private holdings in 2010 alone. Don't fall for this bullshit, they're the most hell-bound sinister ghouls this world has to offer.

The LDS church is a force of evil in the world and $1 million dollars (0.002% of their annual proceeds) is pretty cheap for an ad to control the narrative.

Now how much did they spend on marking this donation?

So like if I give $10, should I make a press release?

Worse, it'd be like if you gave 10 cents. The LDS church has an investment portfolio worth 100 billion dollars and brings in several billion a year in just tithes.

33 billion in tithes, per the poster above you

This is a clear effort to LOOK like they’re doing something while donating such a tiny fraction of the wealth they hoard that it won’t even make a dent.

The Mormon church imo is worse than the Catholic Church. At least the Catholics are open about being shitty and we all know it. The Mormons basically run 2 states and nobody talks about it
