Yea he’s part of the first dlc that adds fighters both in and outside of lore. They’ve done Jason vorhees, robocop, etc in the past.

This time it’s Omni-man, homelander, peacemaker, and 2 MK lore canon fighters like reptile I think

That is quite a change from the original story. I'm surprised. I figured it would be more or less the same, but maybe flip the characters around or change inconsequential shit, as most reboots tend to do. It did make Raiden a champion now, instead of an actual God/Protector. So that's weird.

They basically did what you're talking about in 2011. The entire universe has been reset in the story.

They did that in the last one. This looks like another reboot that has in universe reasons. Which means the old stuff still happened but due to the time stuff its happening again but different
