i was. i played for about 16y, but in the end my body has said nope - time to go! started as a lock, and ended as a flanker, typically at 7.
I miss it, but the recovery and time commitment required is not missed! I'm almost 40.

I was exposed to the sport in school PE class in England and Canada, but never properly played outside of that setting. Didn't really start watching until MLR started and gave me a home team.
Played for my school, played twice for my county and then played for my local club. I stopped at age 17 because of injuries and I was crap! ๐
