Yep it's down a lot. I think it's because it's just memes and also quite hard moderation and downvotes. It feels like a reddit clone that has the exact same mindset as reddit. I get annoyed when I see people being moderated for having an opinion that is not popular.

I saw a post being locked yesterday for asking about moderation. Doesn't anyone else see the problem with that? Your channels rules are not more important than making people feel they can talk and express what's on their mind.

I hate that so much. Stop treating people like they are just resources to moderate.

I don't see much discussions. But I'm sure there is a few here and there.

HR is there to protect the company.

They will have a laugh with you, sure. Why not? And they will come up with silly games for employees, because it increases employee retention and makes employees likely to think HR is just about boosting fun.

But trusting them? God no.

I don't understand the difficulty. My kid who used Windows for at least 7 years installed Ubuntu and just started using it. Why is this difficult for people? I helped him boot the computer from a USB stick and that's it.

Here is the app store, install programs from here.

Ok.

It's still at 50 dollars which is insane. Even 37 dollars is much more than it's worth now, and future looks very bleak for it.

I don't see why it's suddenly the best space game... The core mechanic seems to be the same as the original. Mine materials that are the same on every planet, so you can build space ships and better miners that take more materials and do it over and over again.

When I was playing on launch day, I had a really good first impression but it turned into disappointment, since all the planets had the same minerals. May as well stay on the first planet forever.

Free market ideas always sounded like cartoon level intelligence to me. Some kind of a perfect world where everyone acts morally and people are well informed and chooses the right companies etc.

I think Lemmy.world should not have 99.999% of communities.

We can have one fediverse community but it should not be on Lemmy.world. It's already extreamly centralized with almost all users. It should have all communities as well?

I feel the same about every other duplicate community. Because i actually care about having a decentralized fediverse.

185 comments are mine! :)

And 7 posts...

To the moon!

Also think about how many more lurkers there are. There are many more lurkers than people making posts and comments.

Haha there is always someone who dislikes all the space in today's modern design. I love the new look and it's why I'm using Thunderbird now as a new user. But I love that we have choice in the Linux community to alter things.
