Covert? Isn't India one of few countries consistently and unabashedly trading with Russia? Is this covert in the open secrets sense?
Would this require feeding it batteries like a triggerhappy machine gunner?
Where are those people in Lemmy?
Also, for those few posts of creative stuff around here, where are the people to upvote and comment on them?
While I agree, what might everyday people use to set up forums as relatively easily and cheaply as their Discord servers, and not have them riddled with ads or other clunky elements?
I'm pretty sure those that may have even been considering forums went to Discord because the only other options were more involved in terms of set up/maintenance and cost, the latter to get something without ads.
“He says, ‘You’re not going to be a dictator, are you?’ I said, no, no, no, other than day one. We’re closing the border and we’re drilling, drilling, drilling. After that, I’m not a dictator.”
When has any would-be dictator ever stuck by this?
But also, what in the world is he referring to by "drill" in this context? As in military drills? Is this essentially Trump-speak for lockdown and eliminate political opposition?
Would reminding them that Trump is a major reason abortion rights are on the backslide in the US help? Or that Republicans are running around banning (or trying to ban) books from libraries? Or that Republicans are largely refusing to allocate taxpayers' money to help taxpayers?
~~Who is the target audience for BlueSky?~~ BlueSky's tech isn't as open or developed as the alternatives though, is it?
Edit:
Not sure why I asked that first question, answer's obvious, so it was more out of frustration I think. Sort of in a similar way towards people moving to Threads or any other corporate social media again after getting screwed before.
Is hackerspace the common term for these? I think I've also seen makerspace, or at least it sounds like there's overlap. I may have to do some more searching along these terms, but any time I've read of these it seems like they're more around larger cities or university towns/cities, which I don't happen to live in at the moment.
Hooven made the pledge on his official campaign website, where he said that if elected “my primary focus will be to honor God.”
Wait, does he know becoming a religious leader is an option? And I don't...Think you need to be elected for it? So it's even more affordable!
Wouldn't the real last card be organizing & mounting a full blown insurrection? Not like the first attempt where he could try to keep his hands relatively clean of it, as he's tried to do in a number of other criminal schemes related to his businesses.
Btw, did you know of Weightless Books and Smashwords?
They may not have as many ebooks as Amazon, but they do offer DRM free ebooks, and may be worth keeping in mind to check before going straight to Amazon.
is this how you start a polyamorous relationship?
