The gay Republican I know is also deep in denial. Sad to see in all honesty

I have had to help so many end users with that it pains me.

"How can I stop this from happening again?"

Well, we can disable.other audio devices, but seeing as it's Windows 11 they may just re-enable good luck!

I ran into a user who's noise cancellation stopped working upon the rollout of "New" Teams. Tried diagnosing the microphone array, settings updates, firmware. No luck.

Know what worked? Both versions of browser based Teams!!! Ihatethemihatethemihatethem

My boss has gotten to the point of "As Ashe would say, fucking Microsoft"

Let's not forget the endless name changes, 404'd documentation that points to non existent tools all of the time, the GUI that barely works. Always an adventure

Genuinely. Proton expanding is a good thing in my eyes at least in this stage. They offer their services at a pretty hefty, but reasonable price compared to others, and don't have a free offering for certain things they run. Their incentive to operate is continuing what they were built on and getting better.

If you actually just set it up, this is the perfect time to reset it, and then press shift + F10 then enter "oobe\bypassnro"

It will reboot and you will be able to say that you don't have access to the Internet and set up a local account. That /might/ remove some bloat as well, without needing to reinstall from a flash drive. Which would require reinstalling drivers also.

They've been shown to be super susceptible to scams even. I probably support as many young users in my company as I do older ones, but virtually no one in the age range of ~25-35.

I love going to Entra (azure), the authentication manager (admin, legacy and Entra), the defender dashboard for DLP, wait no compliance, and then uh, what license do I need for this? It's a NIGHTMARE navigating their depreciated shit. Absolutely unreal

And yet, there is very little overlap

It's not even that people are unwilling, the problem is that personal sacrifices are a mere drop in the bucket compared to industry pollution.

The problem with industry pollution is that it happens in the shadows. Supporting greener products is fantastic, but so many are in dire situations where they are unable to spend the money to support the extra cost.

This looks like a Subaru. That being said, from what I've parsed, their privacy policy looks better than most. My 2021 hasn't had any obnoxious OTA updates. The worst it does is push easily dismissed service notifications. No secret codes on how to reset a light.

It drives me insane how many people turn a blind eye to the funny numbers needing to always go up. Every "investor" will tell me how the market has never not recovered; how I'm the fool and surely not them for trusting in the system.

I hate that my retirement depends on a 401k, or money that constantly depreciates.

In an overwhelming number of situations, yes. Cops are intended to prioritize property over people and convictions over justice. Those who speak out about injustices face retribution from their peers and little defense from their union. Police unions act as criminal legal defense to eschew responsibility.

There have even been legal cases of departments refusing to hire people because they were "too smart". This is largely speculated to be due to fear of those who are more intelligent speaking out, and having a moral compass of their own rather than blindly following.
