It feels to me like you don't hate progress, but you hate late stage capitalism.

If progress happened without it being forced on you, without you "having" to adapt to not "fall behind", when all your needs were provided for without having to compete to satisfy them...

Would you really mind progress that much?

Ignore this if you're only looking for medication advice.

I simply stopped going against my ADHD. I stopped trying to achieve things that ADHD was preventing me from achieving. "Achievement/success" is completely overrated.

I think "enough" is when you don't have to worry about water, food and shelter.

I have roughly enough to pay for these things, a little more, can get internet and a few euros each month for random luxury stuff.

I earned more before, but I reduced the hours in my job severely so I get to this money state. I like the reduced hours more than having more money.

So yeah for me, idk what everyone's talking about, there's definitely an "enough". Of course, more is also "nice" but "enough" is when you survive with a little bit over.

Of course, like others say, for most people there is not an "enough", they keep wanting more. It depends on the individuals. I have a bunch of friends who are friends because they think like me. But I can't be friends with most of the population because they can't get enough.

Famous people are mostly famous exactly because they can't get enough. No one works that much, tries to acquire status that much, if they are satisfied eventually. Because when you would be satisfied, you stop chasing more fame, not getting to a level that we would call "famous".

The real solution is to include a few tiananmenSquare variables in all the repositories. Either they exclude the entire repository or just the specific file, in either case the entire project may be unusable.

It's not that involved I don't think. It's simply sadism.

Ich verstehe nicht so ganz, warum es überhaupt Arbeitsverbote für Flüchtlinge gibt. Weiß wer, wieso es die überhaupt gibt, oder wo ich mehr über die Beweggründe erfahren kann?

No you misunderstood, when you bought your Switch you didn't buy the hardware and the software on it, you only bought the right to use the hardware and software. It still belongs to Nintendo, and you better watch out you do nothing bad with it!

Not an "easy" way, but what I've been doing is simply whenever I handle an email in the account I want to switch from, I use that particular situation to change the email in the settings of the account of whatever I'm handling in that moment.

That way it doesn't become an overwhelming task, and if you are consistent with it and do it each time you handle an email, slowly but surely you will have switched completely.

How exactly "can" they? They've been trying pretty hard for quite a long while now and nothing has ever worked. It's also pretty logical why they can't: they don't control your device, you can do anything with it. Whatever they implement, you can always fake being a normal user. Which is exactly why no one using Firefox + uBlock sees anything of what's mentioned in this article (as long as no other addons/settings trigger the adblock detection).

Only the environment they do control is affected, which is essentially like "controlling your device": Chrome.

It is indeed possible to not know what show the meme on the left is from...

It will continue to be so weird for me to go from no ads to ads (or paying a subscription) just because you like the interface a bit more. All the free UIs already available seem perfectly usable and roughly equivalent in convenience.

Honestly? I just ignore them. Something seems to be happening to them, as they're not growing infinitely, but no idea why.

It was a bit complicated to set this up, but it took me almost no time at all.
