LOL. Try the Quran, it has the same characters and same stories but written in a way that makes much more natural reading

if you search Chinese Police Canada (or USA) there are tons of articles that are way more in depth, and describe encounters, etc.

I added that link so people don't think I'm making it up when my friends house is getting door knocked by two CCP police.

It does not directly relate to Ventoy, it relates to why I would not trust a chinese product as we have first hand witness here in Canada of CCP harassing residents or forcing them back to china. There is that much control, even when they don't live in China, that if CCP wanted to have widespread spying they would just pick a dev with family in the mainland.

I tried Kagi but it becomes paid. Stract is free for now, maintainer said it will need ad support or fees at a certain level of growth.

We have chinese police here in Vancouver (edit Non Canadian force), if residents speak badly about CCP these "Police" show up at the door and try to coherce them back to mainland. I'm not regurgitating the articles, my friend living in vancouver had them show up. I'm not trusting blobs.

I first realized this when I tilted my HP laptop sideways to read something on the back and the GNOME DE flipped 90 degrees to match the new up orientation. flip it other side it redid orientation, tilt thev whole laptop back resets to normal Horizontal layout. Amazing planning.

I don't know which distro is best, but you might want GNOME desktop for tablet. Its desktop control is ideally suited for touch and gesture methods on a tablet

Are the polls landline calls? If so you are going to get mostly boomers that still have a landline

I had an awesome team of GP, Surgeon, Oncologist, dentistry, coordinators radiologists, nurses, ENT, porters, etc people in Lower Mainland BC. People complain about healthcare here, but when you are legit sick, they work fast and focused.

You cam teach it expected behaviour of apps...but for .folders I would say that falls under SELinux, which seems to have a learning curve to it
