Nice! Habit forming routine!

On work days, I have a routine that I knock out that takes about an hour. And when I'm finished, i do so much that I'm ready to tackle surprises. On days off, everything falls apart.

Oh yeah stop doing that. I stopped that years ago and it's great.

I was on the receiving end. I have a friend who for two years, would message me about hot sauce and send me photos of hot sauces he's tried out. Probably like 20 images He sent me a box of hot sauce when he came over one time.

I do not share the passion with him at all and he did not take it well when I let him know that.

Love it! I binged Comedy Bang Bang in 2019 and was planning on another marathon. I feel like people don't reference it enough as much as Kee and Peele, Lonely Island songs or Whitest Kids You Know and always appreciate seeing a fan

You're absolutely right!

At no point did I consider it being a entertainment system.

I think this is a great party idea.

There's no evidence but I'm wondering if the dude came up to this sleeping woman, poured alcohol on her, then lit her up.

[-] ByteOnBikes@slrpnk.net 12 points 2 days ago

Bro same!

I'm making 5 times as much as I did when I was out of college. And I'm still nowhere near what my parents had.

Which either implies I was living in extreme poverty back then, or this is a hellhole.

It's easy. Just pretend everyone is a cat.

Every corp you work at has a dark side. Maybe not Lockheed Martin level of destruction.

  • My current job, we build systems to get people to spend more for things they don't need.

  • My last job, we provided technology to "free speech" folks and looked the other way unless legally obligated to take it down

  • The nonprofit i worked for spent 80% of their time and energy just for funding. Like $2mil a year, and 1.6mil went to paying staff.

Sometimes jobs frame it to look like it's a positive.

  • I worked at one company that "gave opportunities" to offshore engineers because they were a fraction the cost of Americans.

  • Another company outsourced our graphic design to people on Fiverr to help fund "freelancers", and then repurpose the work for million dollar ad campaigns.

And for me, I just constantly think of what the line is and how much of it I can cross to feed my kids.

Playing as a Ghoul (with customizable design and even skin texture) is an endgame experience, as the related quest only starts at level 50. Ghouls will have 'dozens of alternate ways' to specialize their character, according to the developers.

To begin with, they are not only immune to radiation; it actually heals them. If your character is hurt, standing on top of some radioactive material will start healing them. Moreover, once fully healed, the excess radiation will build up into a new resource called Glow. Depending on how the player character is specialized, Glow can provide various effects. Ghouls can also utilize 32 exclusive perk cards on top of those already available for human characters, providing great variety when it comes to character progression.

I'm currently reading the book "Game On!" About video game history, and had to verify.

When initially designing The Sims, Wright spent a great deal of time researching the fan community of the hugely successful Quake and Quake 2. "I was amazed at the time people were pouring into making their own custom levels," he told Wired. "So with The Sims, we wanted to make it possible to modify everything. Players could use it as a storytelling platform."

There hasn't been a new game in the Marvel vs. Capcom series since Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite was released in 2017. Now, players may have a good reason to come back to that title thanks to an upcoming fan-mod, Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite & Beyond, which gives the game an almost literal fresh coat of paint. Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite & Beyond will be released on December 20 and will only be available on PC.

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite & Beyond was originally started by a modder called WistfulHopes before the project was taken over by Maximillian “Maximilian Dood” Christiansen, who assembled a team to create new art and music, as well as a throwback visual style that more closely resembles Marvel vs. Capcom 3 than Infinite. The results speak for themselves.

The skit that "missed the mark" occurred in a break in play during the second quarter of Charlotte's game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday. The child was brought onto the court with Hugo, the Hornets' mascot, dressed as Santa Claus. After a letter to Santa requesting a PS5 was read out loud, a cheerleader came out with a bag containing the video game console.

The young fan was visibly overjoyed as he received the pricy gift. However, according to an online acquaintance, he was less happy when the cameras turned off and a Hornets staffer took it away, replacing it with a jersey.
