Looks like gay marriage and abortion will be banned once elected. Unlike the states you can do anything here with the notwithstanding clause. Even hate crimes are legal once the clause is in effect. The only way to remove it is with a change in government.

This is the same government that counts student residences as permanent housing. They could claim PhDs as doctors and cite that as part of the supply.

The real failure is Doug Ford who allowed the protest to go wild. Trudeau wanted a swift resolution and he got it. It may be unconstitutional but Trudeau didn't want another October crisis.
