We need to stop using the term "middle class."

Back in the day, middle class meant Archie Bunker/Al Bundy supporting a family of four with one job.

Today it's two college graduates struggling to keep up with the bills.

We're in Tsarist Russia; a huge mass of serfs, a small set of professionals, and an aristocracy that controls 90% of the wealth.

This case has been going on for a while. Offhand, I can think of at least three toddlers who killed themselves or someone else using a gun that the owner knew was loaded.

None of those adults has been arrested. But the guy who was told his gun had blanks is responsible?

Never forget, Al Franken resigned when old pictures of him goofing around came out.

MAGoo logic.

"We like Trump because he says what he means and means what he says..."

"You can't take Trump literally, but you have to take him seriously."

True story.

Work TV is on the local news channel but the sound is off. Guy is watching the girl presenter. When the commercial comes on he says "Man, that weather girl is hot."

I tell him she's hotter than he realizes.

He asks how can she be hotter than he knows.

I tell him that she was doing a traffic report, not the weather.

I've reposted this story a million times.

Right after the 2016 election, the NY Times had a panel with the creators of all the top political TV series. West Wing; House of Cards: Scandal, any you could name.

All the writers and producers said the same thing; if they'd had a fictional character say that they 'liked soldiers who didn't get captured' the TV networks and advertisers would demand that the character be shown getting hate from all Americans.

The media reported all the horrible things Trump said in 2016 and people still voted for the pig.

Giuliani was famous for going after homeless beggars when he was NYC mayor.

He was a bully and a thug and no humiliation is enough for him.

When I was young my parents introduced me to some old school Communists; folks who'd fought in the Spanish Civil War and been blacklisted in the 1950s.

One of the stories they told was that back in 1968 the oldtimers were warning people to vote for Hubert Humphrey because they knew how bad Nixon would be, Too many young folks then thought 'both sides are the same.'

A bit of history. Trump's legal mentor was Roy Cohn. Cohn was Joe McCarthy's hatchet man. Cohn had a reputation as one of the most vicious pitbulls in New York legal circles. Cohn was also gay, and when he was dying of AIDS Trump dropped him like a hot potato.
