Agreed, when I rewatch Dexter I always stop after season 4. It doesn’t get better than the Trinity killer storyline. That might be one of the best single seasons of television ever. And it’s crazy how bad that show got by the end… talk about going from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows! Although even at its worst the show still managed to be better than the books.

I’ve been looking forward to this for a while. I never would’ve considered Colin Farrell for The Penguin but he pulled it off in what limited screen time he got in The Batman. So at the very least, we’re in for a good performance. I just hope the writing will be on par with The Batman.
kid’s gloves
It’s “kid gloves.” It refers to gloves made of kid leather, the skin of a young goat. Not a child’s glove.

If that were the cheaper thing to do I have no doubt they would've done it. Personally, I figured they were more likely go portless/wireless charging before being forced to USB-C but I guess that's not entirely feasible yet.
Tales From the Hood (1995) and Tales From the Hood 2 (2018) were both directed by Rusty Cundieff and written by Rusty Cundieff and Darin Scott. They're horror comedies (Cundieff would go on to direct many of the sketches from Chappelle's Show (2003) so those might be good options if you want a palate cleanser after more serious fare.
There's also a third 'Tales From the Hood', but I haven't seen it, so I can't speak to its quality, but it's got the same creative team.
