I like that we can get both indie and AAA and that indie developers can successfully create a whole of the former without big business. Not many places any more where a single person can offer a quality product that sits next to a business' with hundreds of millions of investment.

Cost? I bought 3x 8TB Ironwolf drives for £115. That'd cost about £1.5k in SSDs.

Yeah, was easy peasy. Bought the sad off eBay. Be careful which SSD you pick up only specific ones fit, I think there's a thread on Lemmy somewhere. I used a western digital sn520 2242 m.2. A 256 one. I think 512 exist but harder to source.

Try a new USB? I had a similar issue recently on Debian and flashed a fresh drive and it worked fine that time.
