As a Linux user myself, let me tell you that telling people what they should/must do this is how you make people plainly ignore you and think you're just an annoying person.
People will keep using what works for them, be it Windows/Linux/MacOS even if with minor inconveniences. Same goes for browsers/services/etc...
Some of us have been living without an Amazon account since 2007 and we're still alive. Go figure.
Everybody with basic reading abilities already knew that "incognito" is just "not saving stuff locally". Sites can track you regardlessly. With any browser.

And I have moved my mastodon account to an instance who actively defederated Threads. I'm not interested in interacting with anyone on that network.

It's a shame that nowadays a lot of potentially interesting subjects come mostly as crappy and time consuming video format. Did people unlearn how to read?

Just disable votes on your profile. People sometimes can't accept someone not being part of the herd. Which is something really funny, as Linux is (or should be) freedom of choice first of all.
