Yes. At the time I'm commenting, 1 out of 2 questions on the "women's" question is about the gendered nature of the question itself (50%). And 2 out of 11 on the "mens" (18%). The dataset has already been "polluted" as you describe, by the design of the questions.
Thanks. Off to shop for crab meat.
Tightening up mauls and back-and-forth kicking bouts? Sounds good to me. Those things take the wind right out of games.
Seems I get my rugby news from the guardian, where else is good
I'm subscribed to Rugbydump feed and BBC Sports Rugby feed on my RSS reader. New England Free Jacks also has an RSS feed and I'm guessing most other MLR teams do as well.
TY for hosting again!
Last weekend seemed to catch all of us by surprise.
Well. Pretty confident is guessing no one predicted that outcome.
I was rooting for France this time. That isn't the way I want any game to end.
Is the week 2 match thread locked intentionally, @Olap@lemmy.world ?
As humble winner of the cup competition 😎, I'm cool with the same format.
And very appreciative of you, Olap, for setting it up.
I chat with one other person on Lemmy into rugby and will poke them to join. If they do, that's like a 20% increase over the cup!
And also me from another instance because the lemmy.one admin went radio silent for a month and I wanted a backup account. This federated thing is cool, but not the easiest.
Then comments calling out the unnecessary, ham-handed gendering should be expected data points.
