Anyone have a non FiA series they would recommend that isn't Indycar? The constant commercial interruptions completely kill Indycar for me so I just watch the race recaps.

Did you know that you could block communities you don't like on lemmy instead of spamming downvotes?
How motivating do you think it is to post to smaller communities just to get an unrepresentative number of downvoters right off the bat? I can't speak for OP but I'm sure there are plenty that don't post or reply at all because of it.
I think at its core downvoting can be fine but on smaller platforms it's easily abused as a form of content suppression, bullying, etc. Lemmy seems to be particularly prone to account hopping downvote spam, which sucks but it is what it is.
Thankfully Lemmy is flexible enough to create what you want more privately if one is so inclined. I'm smoking weed about it.
Team orders suck as far as competition is concerned. McLaren is also a hot mess when it comes to making decisions in real time during a race so maybe this will help them simplify things while they figure out how to run at the front again...
At the same time I hate it for Oscar. He's been doing an excellent job this season and it sucks to have your progress stamped out mid season for the benefit of the team.
