Wait, it's all socialism?

Always has been.

Pretty sure that was FO4, Bethesda wouldn't touch NV with a 10 foot pole.

It's the least worst way he could put it in his PR statement, there's no doubt in my mind what he did was worse than "inappropriate".

I think you're giving a glorified encyclopedia too much credit. The difference between us and "AI" is that we can approach knowledge from a problem solving position. We do approximate the laws of physics, but we don't blindly take our beliefs and run with it. We put we come up with a theory that then gets rigorously criticized, then come up with ways to test that theory, then be critical of the test results and eventually we come to consensus that based on our understandings that thing is true. We've built entire frameworks to reduce our "hallucinations". The reason we even know we have blind spots is because we're so critical of our own "hallucinations" that we end up deliberately looking for our blind spots.

But the "AI" doesn't do that. It can't do that. The "AI" can't solve problems, it can't be critical of itself or what information its giving out. All our current "AI" can do is word vomit itself into a reasonable answer. Sometimes the word vomit is factually correct, sometimes it's just nonsense.

You are right that theoretically hallucinations cannot be solved, but in practicality we ourselves have come up with solutions to minimize it. We could probably do something similar with "AI" but not when the AI is just a LLM that fumbles into sentences.

But that's cool because the company name is a elementary school level word play, exactly the kind Musk likes. Also the company is about digging holes and everyone in kindergarten knows how cool digging is.

You can never forget that we're dealing with a person whose emotional aptitude is the equivalent of a child.

Depends on what you mean by "recover". It might recover in the sense that the entire company won't go bankrupt and will find a sustainable way to continue existing, but it will never recover to the current stock worth. Tesla has been grossly overvalued as whatever huge potential it had has been squandered. The stock will drop regardless of what Tesla does and it's highly unlikely it will ever reach such worth ever again.

Because I'm pretty sure EU was next in line to slap them in the face for not offering refunds.

Unless they found another legal loophole this will not happen. The reason Tesla can public test their FSD is because, legally, it's only autonomous level 2 and the responsibility falls on the driver. But autonomous level 2 also requires the steering wheel because the driver is supposed to keep their hands on the wheel at all times. No wheel means no level 2 and no level 2 means stricter regulations and stricter regulations most likely means higher costs.

I get the problem, but I don't think it's really applicable. Voting is a basic right of every citizen of the country. Presidency is not for everyone. You wouldn't want a translator who doesn't know the languages they're supposed to translate? Why would you accept a president who is, let's say mentally challenged?

I could understand objecting to specifics, like why should mental aptitude get tested, but I don't understand being against the whole idea. IMO presidency is like a job and like most jobs there are specific requirements that a person needs to meet to be fit for that job. I don't think it's unreasonable to have certain expectations of people who are running for president.

And then he goes on to say that modern games are made by random people in tech that aren’t into gaming. I mean, bro, have you tried applying for a fucking job as a game developer?? Participated in a lunch break at a gaming company where 90% of people only talk about videogames?

Yeah. I guarantee there's nobody in game develop that isn't into gaming. Not only is game development much harder than regular web development you also get paid less and are usually treated worse. I love gaming but I wouldn't go into game development because it's just not worth the effort for me. I'll much rather do my cushy regular tech work and have more time playing games.

That argument doesn't make sense because human vision isn't that great either. When it's dark or raining or snowing or foggy our vision is pretty shit.

I'm not saying LIDAR is better but rather point out that actually you want different types of sensors to accurately assess the traffic, because just one type of sensor isn't likely to cut it. If you look at other manufacturers they're not using only LIDAR or only camera. Some use LIDAR + camera, some user RADAR + camera, some user LIDAR, RADAR and camera. And I'm pretty sure that as manufacturers will aim for higher SAE levels they will add even more sensor into their cars. It's only Tesla who thinks they can somehow do more with less.

I guess if we ignore the two comments pointing out how the article doesn't state what he claims Zelensky said, then yeah nobody has any arguments.

Or were you expecting arguments against a fictional statement? Because I can come back with some just as fictional counter-arguments if that's what you were looking for.
