To be fair, Windows is getting worse every year as well and Linux isn't officially supported by most developers so you kinda need to compromise somewhere.

I personally went with Linux because I got fed up with Windows bullshit and the games I can't play are mostly games I'm not really interested in playing in the first place.

Mutations are also good, see evolution.

I think it depends. I've had a non-technical PM and he was great. He knew he knew nothing about development and as such did what great managers do, create an environment where we could work as efficiently as we could. If we said it takes X amount of time he wouldn't try to squeeze out a faster deadline, he'd report "it will take X amount of time". If we said it's unreasonably to take feature Y in he'd say we're not going to take feature Y in.

IMO it's much harder with PMs who did some development 20 years ago and "know how things are done". The ones with some technical knowledge almost always butt in.

Russia still has a lot of men and has already transitioned into a war-time economy. All Europe has done is have Baltics and Poland (and probably also Finland) go through potential invasion strategies, the rest of Europe doesn't even believe in the possibility of war. The only way circumstances could be better is if Trump gets elected because that old fuck will make sure to hamper US support. Other than that if you're going to invade you couldn't want better conditions.

I'm not saying it will happen. I'm going to say the invasion would the stupid and hardly beneficial for Russia and the logical thing would be to not invade. But I will add that I said the exact same thing about the invasion of Ukraine and we know how that went. I wouldn't put it beyond the realm of possibilities.

Those are already in the AAAA standard that Ubisoft pioneered with Skull and Bones.

I literally can't fathom sending a death threat. It would take an effort to come up with the content of the threat. And that assuming I'd be so angry that I'd decide to threaten someone. It's just so much effort, first to get angry enough and then express that anger in the form of a threat and then find a way to send that threat to the outlet person.

It actually makes me sad for the people who send those threats, because their lives must be so incomprehensibly shit to actually go through with it. They're still bags of dicks though.

There's a simple litmus test. Musk would never joke about himself in a self-deprecating way, in any capacity. He has such a fragile ego it would break if someone farted in his general direction.

If you look at other recyclable or sustainable phone cases it's not actually that much expensive. It seems unreasonably priced if you compare them to cases that are not at all eco friendly.

For me it came pretty close between the two but eventually BG3 came out on top. Totk was great but after 200+ hours I was done with Totk. I currently have almost 200 hours in BG3 and I feel like there's still so much more to play. I also feel like most of my issues with BG3 (like the poor performance in act 3 and some questlines breaking) are things Larian will fix while the issues with Totk (no rebinds, not being able to infuse weapons from inventory, menus in general, almost everything related to the sage powers) are unlikely to get fixed.

Not really. Technically Bungie was "indie" after the Activision split and before being bought out by Sony and some of the issues circulating the news today were the same management issues they had when they were "indie".

Worker-owned is a term rooted in socialism. It means the majority stake (ideologically 100%) of the company is collectively owned by the workers. Thus it means the workers decide what the company does and how they will do it. If an indie company has an owner, who makes the decisions, and employees, who don't have a say in those decisions, then that's not really a worker-owned company.

To be fair, even if you understand the tech it's kinda hard to see how it would benefit the average worker as opposed to CEOs and shareholders who will use it as a cost reduction method to make more money. Most of them will be laid off because of AI so obviously it's of no benefit to them.

Have you considered the possibility that there's a "pseudo-narco state" next to America because America has a drug problem?
