It does confirm the long-standing rumors that the Saudi royal family is now invested in Twitter.

And the fact that P. Diddy is part of this mess is surprising and slightly amusing.

Technically, it doesn't mandate that. But it does mandate that no elector can vote for both a President and Vice President from their own state, so it would open up the possibility of a split administration. Which is why parties avoid it.

It was amusing to see people float Gavin Newsom as Harris's VP pick for that reason. With that rule, and the outsized number of Electoral votes that CA has, it'd practically guarantee a Harris/Vance administration if she won.

That seems to be the general thrust, but I have seen a few not-so-bright sparks suggest that Jamaicans aren't really black.

I even saw one person suggest that the fact that she is descended from an Irish plantation owner means she can't be black. Which, gee, I wonder why a black person would be descended from a plantation owner?

Because everyone knows Covid can't spread at protests.

If the guy went armed into a KKK meeting, it's pretty obvious what he's doing. I wouldn't have a lot of sympathy for the KKK guys, because fuck them, but it's pretty obvious at that point that the guy is playing vigilante.

It's also worth noting that the first two people he shot were unarmed, and everyone who was in the vicinity thought he was an active shooter.

P.S. Self-defense isn't murder.

What Kyle did wasn't self defense. I don't give a damn what the court said, he went looking for trouble with a gun in his hand.

One woman told Telemundo 51 in Spanish that it was disrespectful to Cuba, Cubans, Trump and the U.S.

Trump should be treated with no respect whatsoever, and his existence as a Presidential candidate is more disrespectful to the US than any billboard can ever be.

We hang together, or we hang separately.

Most people don't see cisgender as a slur. Only complete asshole transphobes do.

Honestly, not even they do. They just lie about it as a gotcha.

I've been running scripts to migrate my Twitter follows to Bluesky, and the people who it actually found there are mostly artists, queer shitposters, and leftist activists - all precisely the types of people that guys like Dorsey hate.
