I think you are missing the context of the film I used as an example. All the friction and the "comedy" in the film comes from the racism. From the start, it is the point. The taxi driver picks them up from the airport and asks the main character if he is from India. When he replies yes and asks if the driver if he's ever been there, his reply is no but he stopped in Turkey once. The when they arrive the soon to be mother-in-law assumes that the Indian boyfriend is the Taxi driver and the driver is the boyfriend. We are five minutes into the film at this point and it goes downhill from there.

That is just one easy to digest example using media. Our real life daily interactions with the staff from our European clients is a never ending source for more.

Back when I used to work for others, I would always remove the disk drive and replace it with an identical uet fresh out of the box one and a fresh Windows install. A few hundred dollars and a little work is a small price to pay.

I think less than five people know my real phone number. I have been using the same "Google Voice" number to forward to my phone since the service was called Grand Central (pre-Google buy out). It filters out calls and texts from disposable VOIP numbers by default. They go straight to SPAM. You can port your main number to Google Voice and forward it back to your current phone. You can also text and call from your new phone through Google Voice so the people on the other line still see your original number and only you know it has been ported.

I just searched using Kagi. It fares poorly. Normally I get better results but "glb file format" seems to be a cursed search. Nothing but AI with the exception of one Wikipedia result and one Reddit post.

I will try "how to parse data from a glb file" and report again in an edit.

EDIT: Solid hits from the first try. It seems that search engines are being swarmed by generated garbage for open or vague questions. The moment you get specific, the AI slop seems to fall off...at least on Kagi.

I use Kagi specifically because Google and DDG were too infested with AI garbage. There is no escaping it. I get less generated slop, but I still get plenty.

Janky grammar. Remember that this is Joe Biden we are talking about. The man's brain is cooked. Below is what I am fairly certain he was trying to communicate.

Joe Biden said the FBI told him and his White House aides that agents found, that Jabbar had posted videos on social media, mere hours before the attack indicating that he was inspired by IS, expressing a desire to kill.

Why would anyone choose anything but the magenta one?

I have a feeling that after this, they will install those retractable giant pilons they use in places like government buildings rather than a parked patrol car. It is sad that it takes a tragedy to get the gears moving.

You are being downvoted because you commented without any knowledge. Bourbon street is only open to traffic during the day, and mainly for deliveries. The suspect swerved around the traffic barriers, while shooting at the police.

Source: I lived in New Orleans for years, worked in the Garden District and lived in the French Quarter for a few years.

Soooo...a typical New Year's resolution then.

If I could only learn one additional language, and I wanted to travel the world, what language would serve me best other than English or Spanish?

These are the four richest people in the world. Every single one of them became rich by stealing others ideas, exploitation of others and the ecological devastation of the planet.

...US congresswoman Maria Elvira Salazar said she was "disgusted" by the "racist comment". She said it did not "reflect the GOP values""...

You sure about that Maria?

Everything I know about Larian tells me that they did not try very hard to hide it. They had to for liability and contractual obligations, I am sure, but they didn't try very hard to hide it.

I just need to gush for a minute. I am about to shutdown my server in order to move it to the basement. This off the shelf $300 desktop running Pop!_OS is my self-hosting server that has dutifully done it's job without a single complaint. It has been rebooted maybe three times since 2020 and it currently has an uptime of 840 days. That's 840 days of not ever thinking about this thing. It self updates via Cron jobs and just...works.

I am afraid to open the box up though. Those dust bunnies must be huge.

OK Eric, but how do you win without employees?
